The FOTD today features a few of the ColorEvolution products I reviewed yesterday.
The standout products would be the mineral eyeshadows with their beautiful sheen. Mint Ice is in inner half, Grape in outer half of the lids and on the lower lash line on top of the black liner.
Beautiful and natural on the cheeks is the mineral blush in Desert Dusk. I also use it as an eye transition colour to blend out Grape and it is awesome for that too.
I kinda like the Kim K under-eye highlight effect the concealer & eyeshadow base in Fair offers. Being a little thick, it works well as a base for the mineral eyeshadows, and brow bone highlight too.
On the lips is the vitamin-infused gloss in Papaya, That bright orange red colour in the tube turns into a pink nude/ pale peach on me, go figure! I do like how it looks here, but wish it were more pigmented and intense for a summer lip :)
Other products used:
- Make Up For Ever HD Micro-perfecting primer #2
- Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover foundation in 123
- Milani Liquid Eye Liquid-like eyeliner pencil in Black
- Milani Eye Tech Extreme liquid eyeliner in Blackest Black for the double (subtle) cat eye
- Avon Ultra Luxury brow liner in Dark Brown
- Yves Rocher bronzing powder from the Summer 2014 collection.
I was testing to see if I can skip mascara if I line the upper lash line and tight line. Just forgot to put the mascara on before snapping the pics. You probably won't notice anyway, my lashes are sad :)
It sounds silly but liquid liners and me aren't best friends and I am always nervous using one. Milani Eye Tech Extreme helps definitely, but I am still no expert.
Anyway, hope you guys had a nice long weekend. This is a short week but feels like super long to me for some reason. Tomorrow is the big day for SB and Squirt both, I am excited!
This also means the giveaways will end soon (a day and a half left), so don't miss them, please.
