Sparkled Beauty

Yay, no school or work today. It feels funny to have a day off mid week, but I'd take it :-) Now that I have time to take pics, here is a little haul we did last Saturday. Didn't find anything for Christmas presents though.

Old Navy had the door crasher deal on scarves, so we grabbed a few. At CAD1 each (reg. CAD7.50), I wouldn't worry too much if we accidentally lost one. Our scarves and hats get left behind in the winter often enough.

Squirt picked the pink and the multi-coloured ones. There were about 10 styles to choose from, wasn't hard to get to the 5 scarf limit :-)

We were at the store about half an hour after it opened and the line was already so long. I had a mission to find a few fall jackets as Old Navy was having 50% off sale on outerwear, plus I had in my hand a 25% off coupon from their weekly coupon hunting.

Men's jackets were boring, the bf didn't find anything he liked, but we did :-)

This one is my favorite.

I tried on some fleece colourful coats (they had red, green, grey, brown and black) but didn't like the fit. Then I saw this one, only 2 left and one was my size.

It's 70% wool, 30% cotton, very warm. The buttons also allow open neck style or buttoned up all the way up. I love that, as I hate my neck being cold, even with a scarf.

And it's black and grey, basically could go with any clothing combination. I like the length too, not too long, not too short.

I paid CAD33 for it (reg. CAD89.50), not bad at all.




This one looked really cute on Squirt.

It said Frost Free on the label, a little glossy with grey flowery pattern, and fur-like trimmed hood, she loved it. There was a black as well, but she didn't like dark colour, obviously.

It was CAD22 (reg. CAD59.50). The full price was a bit much for kids' clothing, but I love the sale price :-)










This one is with Performance fleece, red with pink lining. Quite warm and trendy for a 6 year old :-)

And it's very inexpensive too. Discount was a bit more on this one as it was already on sale before the 50% discount. Reg. CAD44.50 but only cost me CAD11 (reg. 44.50).













From the mall's 20% off event, I got 1 thing. Can you believe it? I was shopped out at Winners many times, so I guess I wasn't in to shopping much now.

The bf found a coat he liked at Bluenotes with reasonable price. All their outerwears were down to CAD49.50, plus BOGO 1/2 the whole store, then the 20% off on top.

He asked whether I wanted to get something for the half off deal, and I picked this one. It's dark grey, 100% cotton (except the lining). I don't normally like the hanging wooden buttons at the front, but this one fit me well and had a fun hood.

After all the discounts, the 2 coats came out CAD30 each (reg. CAD69.99).

So we're good for fall outerwear. Hope you all have a nice day!
