I Live to Shine

Yves Rocher White Botanical cream

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

The moment I thought I have enough great moisturizers, I found one more :) And the best thing is I did not see it coming.

The latest addition to Yves Rocher White Botanical skin care line is the Exceptional hydrating cream (day and night).

Lots of features in the line remain the same:
- The packaging: white box with green floral print and iridescent pale pink accent on the product. The jar is glass! (remember I said, to boost the luxury feel)
- The scent: lightly herbal, the only thing I wish were better
- The formula: Licorice (brightening) and White Lupin extracts (anti-aging).

What I didn't know until I opened the lid: the cream is whipped (smooth surface on left pic, airy texture on right). It melts quickly on the skin and dries to a semi matte finish (no wait time for next step). I has been a lot more motivated to moisturize my face :)

On the left in each pic below: the texture when first put on the skin (I use my finger) and right: lightly spread out. Don't worry, that white colour disappears once rubbed in.

The hydrating cream keeps my face hydrated and smooth through the day, and no shiny forehead/ nose. The whipped texture is certainly the icing on the cake, I could not get enough.

The brightening effect, if the cream delivers it, would take more than a few months to show. I am happy at this point just as it is but sure will welcome any extra benefits.

Ingredients: Water, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Dimethicone, Isopropyl Myristate, Glycol Stearate, Aphloia Theiformis Leaf Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, etc.

The jar is 1.6oz/ 50ml, retails $47, on sale for $25.85 at the moment.

  1. I found a night cream in my mom's room (that I promptly stole lol) with that whipped texture and I love it! It might be mental, but it seems like it holds the moisture on my face better.

    1. What was the brand? I do feel it holds the moisture in too :)
