I'm back home past midnight on Sunday, exhausted. Spent all day yesterday recovering, unpacking and cleaning up. Not much excitement to report, other than this awesome Super Mega Redemption haul from Shoppers that a friend was so kind to do it for me while I was away.
Now you don't need any more introduction to these Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr eyeshadows, right? I myself don't own many MAC paint pots (like 3), so I can't pass up the chance to get something similar for a fraction of the cost of MAC - CAD8.99 each.
Second row: Pomegranate Punk (very similar to MUFE #17), Bad to the Bronze and Tough as Taupe.
I might swatch Bold Gold and Fierce & Tangy to see if I want them too. With 10 colours in total to choose from, you will find something you like with these :)
And then, I gotta have all the new L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows in the L'Or collection, CAD10.99 a piece :)
Third row: Bronze Divine, Sahara Treasure, Goldmine
Last row: Black Onyx, Emerald Lame and Golden Mahogany.
I gave up on trying to compare shades we have here with those released in the US (with totally different names, why L'Oreal, why?), despite the risk that I might miss an exclusive colour, if any. I believe I now have all shades in Canada (except for the 4 matte ones that I didn't care for).
The rest of the haul:
Bourjois Smoky set (CAD36) with:
- Effet Smoky eyeliner in Intense Black
- Volume Glamour mascara in Noir Ebene, and
- Smoky Eyes eyeshadow trio in Gris Dandy.
CoverFx Total Coverage Cream foundation SPF30 in M50, CAD39.
Cover Girl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 foundation in Buff Beige, CAD17.99.
I am really excited being able to redeem my points for these. There have been so many new products coming out for the holidays and upcoming season that will keep us, beauty bloggers, busy. Hope everyone has a good start of the new year.
I love both the Color Tattoos and Infallible eyeshadows! I can't believe they were both released in Canada before they were released in the US :)

I can't wait for swatches! Can you do a review on the CoverFX? I am looking for something that will totally cover up my freckles that doesn't looked like a caked on mess LOL.
ReplyDeleteI am having a Quo All About Eyes palette giveaway. I know you love SDM and Quo, so if you don't already have it please enter.

Glad your back!
I can totally relate! I work at Shoppers and our discount totally keeps me staying there. So many products each month (practically) and only so much money to spend it. SADNESS.
ReplyDeleteMorena, yeah something happened to these brands and they looked at Canada first. Doesn't happen very often, lol
ReplyDeleteRaina, thank you. I hope I can do a review for you on the CoverFx :) I'll def check out your giveaway, you know me well
Annie, lucky you getting employee discount at Shoppers. Too bad you're not here where I live or I can come in store and bug you all the time lol
PFFFF- I wouldn't mind some buggage! It is sad that I hardly ever use my employees discount on myself. v.v Sadness. It truely does help whenever I need something from Beauty Boutique, though!
ReplyDeleteI'm so surprised I haven't heard of anyone talking about the Maybelline 24hr eyeshadows! I seen them at my local SDM and immediately went home to look up swatches but was shocked when I couldn't find ANYTHING.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try one out but there's only one tester, and I want to see the actual colours before I purchase :(
Annie, yep, Beauty Boutique is where your money goes lol
ReplyDeleteArezu, reviews of the Color Tattoos start popping up on blogs now. It's probably because we get them before the US, US blogs are a little slower in posting about them. I'll do some swatches this weekend :)
