Sparkled Beauty

It took me quite a while to embrace the idea of HauteLook and alike member-exclusive shopping websites where good brands are on heavy discounts, mainly because I don't think I could afford those things, even at discount.

Through blogs, I have seen HauteLook hauls with great bargains, and my mind started to wonder. I signed up through a friend's referral link last week, and was glad I did, cause this week, starting Monday, is Beauty Week on there.

At the moment, the schedule looks like:
- Stila on Monday (plus a shoe blowout sale - like the ultimate sale of all sales)
- Lorac on Tuesday, and
- NYX and RapidLash on Wednesday.

Sales start at 8am PST/ 11am EST and run for 48 hours. I might just be there every day of the week checking deals out :)

Shipping to Canada is a flat rate of $10.95 with international surcharge of 18% to which covers GST, PST and duties, which is the other reason that stops me from joining. I might try to send the orders to the bf's address, if it allows, to save a few $.

On a totally unrelated note, I saw the FERGALICIOUS Women's Cinch (picture on the left) on a blogger's lemming list, retails $69.99 and my mind stopped.

Omg, remember the pair I got from Suzy Shier's blow out sale (picture on the right), retails $40, on sale for $5?

Let's just say I'm over the moon, I have a cheap dupe of Fergie's shoes, lol.
