Joe Fresh haul

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

This is a little stash of Joe Fresh eyeshadows that I have been collecting recently. For some reason, I haven't paid enough attention to this brand in the past, except for the nail polish. It's only fair that I start telling you about it now, isn't it?

I was so happy to be able to get all 6 of the Spring shades that are slowly discontinued. It took me a few hunts at different Superstores locations that carry Joe Fresh.

First row, from L-R: Peacock, Glo, Lime.
Second row: Berry, Grape and Vintage Pink, CAD2.04 each.

Very spring-y, aren't they? A mix of matte and shimmery shades, couldn't ask for a better bunch. When I laid them out to take pictures, I couldn't help staring at them again. So pretty! Peacock seems to get lots of raves from bloggers, but I think I can't pick a favorite.

Great news: The Fall eyeshadows have hit the store, just about time.

There are 6 of them but I only got 4, the dark ones: Camp, Rosewood, Pagoda and Iris, CAD4 each.

My flash washed the colours out a little, as they look a bit darker IRL, just the right type of Fall eyeshadows, I'm telling you. Can't say I want to see Summer go yet, but Fall promises so much for fashion and beauty products, don't you think?

And talking about dark shades, I also found 2 colours from the regular collection that I didn't want to miss: Charcoal and Chocolate, CAD4 each.

Again, they are darker IRL, with a bit of shimmer, very pretty. I'd use these for the crease or a quick neutral smoky look, as soon as I could bring myself to dip the brush in them, lol.

Another good news: Joe Fresh is coming out with a 5 Minute Face Palette with 4 eyeshadows (from the regular collection), a cream lipstick, a lipgloss, a blush and a bronzer, CAD20. What do you think?

For lip products, I got:
- Lip glosses in Poppy and Candy, CAD8
- Lip stains in Watermelon and Apple, CAD6.

For some reason, the 2 lip stains appear very similar in the picture but they aren't IRL. I can't wait to try these out. Sorry no swatches yet, but soon. I am actually contemplating another giveaway with Joe Fresh, as I don't think lots of you have access to it. Are you interested?

For Canadian readers, Joe Fresh brings out the coupons again last Friday, this time for either lip or eye products. Make sure you grab them when shopping. Now I am waiting for a coupon for their face products or brushes, lol.

There are supposed to be 8 Fall Nail polish shades and a matte top coat too but they haven't arrived in store yet (at least where I am they haven't). Nail polish is the only category that still has the "3 for CAD10" deal vs. the regular CAD4 price, just an enabler to polish junkies like I am, lol. Please let me know if you see these new colours in store, as I can't wait to check them out.

If any of you wonders, this is not a sponsored post, as I bought all the products myself. Cheers!

  4. Yay! You got some lip stains!! I hope the colors you bought don't scare you off. I'm sometimes nervous trying to pull them off because they come off so dark on my lips.

Shadowy Lady, Joe is a brand that is overlooked a lot, I found. Hope to hear what you think about it when you have a chance to try

Ashley, yep, I braved on the stains. We'll see how the colours work out :)

A&C, thanks :) I didn't get them all in 1 trip, so yeah it took a while to collect
