Sparkled Beauty

It was an exciting day for us on Wednesday, as we finally found an awesome cat to adopt on kijiji. Then things turned sour when the person changed his mind after we already decided on pick up date and time. This is the second time that it happened to us. Squirt kept getting excited, and then disappointed. I know we have an option to go to the shelters to adopt a pet, but I found most people post on kijiji as last resort when the shelters are too full. It's so sad that this time it fell through again.

The good news is it snows again. We have about 10 centimeters so far, so Saturday would probably be a good time to go sledding again, lol.

Old Navy has a "Canada Pride" promotion this weekend, starting today. Instead of the regular weekly coupon hunt, they offer everybody who shows their Canada love (wearing red or a maple leaf, or the word "Canada") 30% off their purchase.

I think the extra 50% off on clearance items was over yesterday, unfortunately :-)

In the States, the whole store is 30% off (no clothing requirement, lol) today and Saturday. So Canadians have to work harder for the discount. Go Canada!
