NOTD: WetnWild Sparked

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

We had a beautiful sunny day here today, a complete opposite of what we had on Friday. A bit chilly but I wouldn't complain. However, I've had the worst unproductive day ever.

I wasted half of the morning getting ready for an outdoor family photo shoot with a photographer, and rushed the bf straight from the airport (he didn't have any time to rest) just to make it to the scene. And the photographer was no where to be found. There was no signal at the beach, so I couldn't call her. Frustrated!!! I found out later that the photographer emailed me in the morning to cancel the appointment due to a family emergency. It'd help if she called me instead. Oh well, at least the beach was beautiful, deep blue water, white sand, I wonder why I never heard of it - Crystal Crescent beach is the name. We hung around a bit enjoying the scene. Squirt was the happiest among us, obviously. I didn't go shopping afterward, so no haul :-)

Anyway, enough with the rant. I have a gorgeous nail colour today.

Sally Hansen Hard As Nail Xtreme Wear in Peach Daiquiri was on my finger nails from Thursday for work (check my NOTD Peach Daiquiri post for swatch).

Friday night, I decided to spice it up with WetnWild Wild Shine in Sparked, and I was in love. Feel free to click on the picture for full size effect.

Sparked is a pink glitter on clear base, so it was perfect to be on top of Peach Daiquiri which is a sheer peachy pink. They are wonderful together!

I am on glitter kick recently, with the release of China Glaze Fall 2009 collection. Thought Sparked is a nice addition to that, and it didn't disappoint.

Have a lovely weekend ladies!

  1. That was pretty darn rude. Not everyone checks their email everyday. Love all the glitter on your manicure. Very pretty. I got some CoverGirl Glitter topcoats and went to town on my old manicure. I'm loving all the glitters that are out now.

  2. I know eh? Thanks for your sweet comment. China Glaze just feeds my glitter love perfectly, and now WetnWild too, lol. I haven't ventured out to Cover Girl
