FOTDs: Too Faced My Favorite Things

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

I have a series of FOTDs today with Too Faced A Few of my Favorite Things set, just thought it would be fair to do more than one look for the number of eyeshadows it offers :)

In this first toned down look, the eyeshadows used were Chocolate Milk as transition colour, Bluff on the inner half of the lid, Evergreen on the outer half and crease, and Cream Colored Ponies on the brow bone.

As I mentioned in the review, Moon on their Wings was a perfect colour to add a pop of glitters in midlids, so I did exactly that.

On the cheeks were Raindrops on Roses blush and Sun Bunny bronzer, applied lightly.

See how almost invisible the Lip Injection Color Bomb! moisture plumping lip tint in Bee Sting on me? The tingling effect lasts about 5 minutes, not extremely uncomfortable but is definitely noticeable.

I did two coats of the Better Than Sex mascara in Carbon Black here and can you see the clumps? The only problem I had with this mascara.

The second look, a step up for the eye makeup.

Woolen Mittens was a better transition shade on me, with more warmth than Chocolate Milk (in the first look above). Blue Satin Sashes was gorgeous on the crease all across the eyes, and Crisp Apple Strudel was smooth, buttery, added a bright pop near the lashes.

I used more Sun Bunny than normal on the cheeks. For the lips, I went for more colour - Revlon lip butter in Red Velvet.

Only one coat of Better Than Sex mascara in Carbon Black this time, less clumpy, much better! So it is a trade off with this mascara, if I want a more intense coverage, I will have to deal with the clumps. I like it but it is not my HG.

The last look is purple crazy, just for the sake of it :) The dark shades in the palette deserve a show-off, so here they are.

I chose Pure Glam in the outer corner, it had some fallout issue but was a pigmented black, so don't do your foundation before it. Ooh la Orchid and Soiree were the added intense purple sheen you see here. All these were paired with Tinsel in the inner corner.

On the lips was MAC Hang-Up lipstick. It did not appear as scary as it looked in the tube, I was hoping for a little more darkness there lol.

Hope you all had a lot of fun with Black Friday sales and are ready for Cyber Monday. I, surprisingly enough, did not spend any money online. This was partly because of the vacation, also because I was not online enough to keep up with all the craziness. Yay for saving money :)
