Sparkled Beauty

Hi everyone, sorry for not posting weekend finds yesterday. I went back to Zellers' clearance sale yesterday, which by the way was great. I found flats for me at $2.50 a pair, shorts and dresses for Squirts under $10, and that's before the coupon they have on their FB.

My Zellers would become Target next Fall (2013), I do want to support them before they are gone for good.

Anyway, back to the NOTD, this is Nerd Lacquer Nebula from my nail polish haul a while back.

And it turned out to be as great as I thought it was. Nebula is a deep purple shade with multi-coloured glitters. If the base were black, I'd say it would look like a night sky/ universe on my nails. Love the name!

The base is pigmented enough that you don't need a different base for the glitters to show. I did 2 coats, but if you want full opacity that looks like the bottle colour, you can always add another coat.

Despite the glitters, Nebula applied smoothly and was not very hard to remove either. Lasted 2 days on me.

Next time I wear this, I would definitely go for 3 coats, as I have been into dark colours for my finger nails lately. This plum shade is still pretty, but vampy dark purple sounds and looks better :)

Hope the week treats you all well so far. It has cooled down a bit in the last few days, which was a nice break from the constant heat we had. Heard it`s gonna be a record breaking temperature today for Toronto, so bring out your shorts and neon nail polish, lol.
