Happy New Year, everyone! Hope 2011 starts out right for you all. I am heading off to Toronto tomorrow to a TBB (Toronto Beauty Bloggers) meetup, and hang out with a few blogger friends afterwards. I'm staying a night to catch up with my bff, and have some good food. The blog will be quiet till I get back :)
I know this is not new, but I thought it is appropriate to start a new year with some good news. A few days after Mary at Body and Soul spotted a pic from the NailPro magazine, China Glaze finally posted up information about the Tronica Specialty Collection.

Do you see the magic word that appeared 12 times above: "Holographic"? I am wondering if it is the re-release of OMG/ Kaleidoscope or totally new but excited either way.
A few nail bloggers have been able to get them from Cosmoprof (you need a license to shop there) already, one even posted Tronica swatches.
The collection is supposed to arrive at Sally (for us, the public) in March/ April, quite a wait. I guess we can keep ourselves busy with the Crackles (coming out in February):
- Black Mesh - Black crackle
- Lightening Bolt - White crackle
- Broken Hearted - Pink crackle
- Cracked Concrete - Grey crackle
- Crushed Candy - Teal crackle, and
- Fault Line - Purple crackle.
Are you getting anything from either of these collections? I'm a big fan of China Glaze, it's not gonna be easy to resist. Online swatches will only enable me even more. Oh well...
Oh great.. I was just about over my nail kick but now you've got me lemming again!
ReplyDeleteCrackle polishes are all the rage right now but I've been calmly waiting for them. I know OPI has recently come out with their "shatter" polish but I much prefer China Glaze as it's more affordable & the quality is on par. I'll have to hit up the Sally's in the next city to get my crackle fix!
I really really want to try the crackle polishes. Everyone that has them posts beautiful pictures and I can't wait to put my flair on them!

My friend who's a hairdresser is getting me the whole collection tomorrow. I'm so stoked. I wasn't into polish when the OMG and Kaleidoscope collections came out so I have ONE holo in my collection. I had to have ALL of these colors. I'm not sure I'll wear all of them frequently. In fact, a few of the colors may end up in a swap. But for now, I can't wait to get my hands on them!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, love these new colours!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog, as I started searching for review blogs, because I've started one in the last few months. Anyways, I love checking your blog!
Ashley, nail polish collections will never stop, don't rest just yet lol. Yeah, I'll go for ChG Crackle to save some $ too.
ReplyDeleteAntoszewskia, yes it is all the hype now.
Tracie, lucky you :) Swapping is great too, for those you don't want to keep
Andy Vicious, thanks for your comment, and welcome!
