Murale

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

I bet if you are a makeup lover who lives in a Canadian big city, you would have heard about Murale, a department store-like chain that has opened up its store in Ottawa, Montreal and very recently at Shops at Don Mills in Toronto (Calgary store is opening up soon).

Obviously, the store carries lots of department store brands in cosmetic, skincare, haircare, fragrances, etc. so you have a one-stop shop for lots of beautiful thing you need. They also offer makeup lessons, bridal makeup, brand events, etc.

I like the idea of the Benefit Brow Bar, as I need serious brow shaping work. I know this is not the first brow bar you guys have around you, but there is none around me, so yeah, I'm excited.

The coolest thing (at least to me) is the Optimum Points reward that is previously offered at Shoppers only. I love it when stores have reward system for customers just to shop there, and I love Optimum points the best.

Even though there is no Murale store around here yet, I'm happy for the option having a store like this in Canada (besides Sephora). Today would probably a good time writing about them, as they are doing a Beauty Exchange promotion between September 17-20.

Basically if you have been stocking up on points from previous x20 point events at Shoppers, now you can redeem 40,000 Optimum points for CAD100 off (regularly only CAD75 off) or 75,000 points for CAD200 off your purchase (regularly CAD150 off).

Disclaimer: I am not paid to do the PR work for Murale, I'm just a subscriber of their newsletters. When I see the promotion in the email, I thought it would be fun to post about. Hoping we'll have our own Murale one day! And if you guys go to the store, I'd like to hear what you think about the experience.

  1. I wish it would open downtown as Don Mills isn't very convenient.

I have gone to the benefit brow bar at Holt's and to be honest, it was overpriced and not that good. the one time I went she actually messed it up a bit. I go to get my brows done in a super cheap place and it's great!

  2. Miss. Fab, the store is very new, that's probably why you haven't heard of it. I'm just a big fan of Optimum points, so I follow their news :-)

Michelle, I had no idea Don Mills is out of the way lol. Why would they open up a beauty store outside the downtown core??? Bummer! On on positive side, I'll have to shadow you for some brow works, if you don't mind :-)
