Another new and interesting product at Bath and Body Works I got together with the Beach Glow gel lotion in Honolulu Sun was a foaming shower gel in Aloha Waterfall Orchid.
I normally don't go for foam in cleansing products as it is said to dry out the skin, but could not resist the curiosity with this one.
The foaming shower gel is infused with coconut oil and aloe vera, which helps with that common concern and with the gently sweet scent of orchid, rainwater, gardenia, clementine and lemon blossom (top notes) and sandalwood, musk and sands (dry notes), it turns out to be quite fun to use.
Instructions: Shake well, add a drop to wet sponge and massage into creamy lather to leave skin feeling soft and beautifully scented.
Even without a sponge, the gel lathers up very well on the skin (see below), so start with a smaller amount than you think you would need. The foam rinses off in about the same amount of time a shower gel would take, and the skin feels very soft, clean without being dry. Nothing bad to say about this product, check it out if you want something different for the shower.
It would probably come down to the scent personally. Aloha Waterfall Orchid is gorgeous on me, slightly sweet and tropical like I said, but does not linger long after the shower.
There are 4 other Hawaii fragrances in the line, if you are looking for options: Golden Pineapple Luau, Tiki Mango Mai Tai, Waikiki Beach Coconut and Honolulu Sun. Just in time for summer.
The can has 4.4oz/ 125g of product, retails $18.50, but again I only paid $3 for it. Wouldn't mind grabbing a few more with the next sale, and maybe hope for more fall scents when the time comes.
