Last time I reviewed Bioderma Atoderm line (for very dry to atopic sensitive skin, sky blue accent packaging) was with the Levres (Lips) moisturizing stick, 4g, $6.95.
I still have it on my desk at work, enjoy using it through the day. I mention it again today as this season, for a limited time, the brand offers a duo of these sticks for $9.95. For a bit of saving, if you are interested in trying it out, or it has become a staple in your winter routine, now would be a good time to grab some.
I was sent 2 more products from the line to review for you.
The Atoderm gentle shower gel (soap free) is now in a big format of 1 liter bottle, with a pump stopper (much appreciated to avoid spillage, popular with Korean skin care products) for $19.95.
Not that I would need this much shower gel in a bottle, but the value is great. The gel itself smells refreshing, goes on quite creamy and foams up nicely. It softens the skin after rinse, which is always a plus. No drying or negative effects that I noticed.
The gel is said to be good for the face as well but I wash my face separately at the sink, so I did not use it on my face.
Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Coco-Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Glycerin, Methylpropanediol, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Fructooligosaccharides, Copper Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Coco-Glucoside, Glyceryl Oleate, Disodium Edta, Capryloyl Glycine, Citric Acid, etc.
The shower gel is paraben/ allergen and artificial colouring free, appropriate on adult, children and babies.
To treat, Atoderm PP Ultra-nourishing balm is meant to relieve skin discomfort (rough/ scaly skin, tightness) with long lasting effort. Also with a pump stopper that I love.
The formula includes vitamin PP (vitamin B3) and nourishing agents to strengthen the skin barrier by supplying essential lipids. The Ecodefensine complex helps preserve the skin's biological balance and prevent recurrence.
I totally appreciate what this balm does for my dry winter skin, especially on the knees, heels and elbows. It is creamy, absorbs quickly and softens the skin fast, especially does not have a scent. Perfect for work with a scent free policy.
Also said to be good for the face but again, I have other face creams to use instead.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Paraffinum Liquidum/ Mineral Oil , Ethylhexyl Stearate, Dimethicone, Niacinamide, Sucrose Stearate, Glyceryl Dibehenate, Fructooligosaccharides, Mannitol, Xylitol, Rhamnose, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Peumus Boldus Leaf Extract, Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Fruit Extract, etc.
The giant bottle is 500ml, $29.95. Paraben/ fragrance free. I do recommend trying it, maybe with a sale.
