I was curious to hear about Honeymania, the latest collection from The Body Shop, as I wanted to see how the brand handles honey as a scent in bath & body products.
Nice to find out that the honey in Honeymania is made from the nectar of wildflowers, hence the scent is quite floral. If blogger one day decides to design a "scratch and sniff" sticker, I'd put on here for you, as Honeymania smells good :)
I was sent 3 products from the range to test out, and it's time to discuss!
I believe this is the very first bubble bath melt in all lines of scents at The Body Shop, I was very excited to try it.
The swirls of gel in the tub looks like honey, good enough to eat (but don't, lol). Instruction says to drizzle it under warm running bath water to create creamy bubbles and the skin will feel softer and smoother after. I am just gonna confirm this (simple as that) and add that I smell good stepping out of the tub :)
Ingredients: Water (Solvent/Diluent), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Surfactant), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Surfactant), Glycerin (Humectant), Fragrance, Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Honey (Natural Additive), Sodium Chloride (Viscosity Modifier), Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate (Skin-Conditioning Agent), etc.
The tub is bigger than the regular body butter/ scrub (300ml), retails for $12.
And then there is this soap shaped like a honeycomb with a cute bee print on the surface.
The soap cleanses well, and does not take much for my face which is where I prefer to use the soap for. It does not strip my face after washing, and I (once again) smell good lol.
Ingredients: Sodium Palmate (Surfactant), Water (Solvent/Diluent), Sodium Palm Kernelate (Surfactant), Glycerin (Humectant), Sorbitol (Humectant), Coconut Acid (Surfactant), Fragrance, Triethanolamine (pH Adjuster), Honey (Natural Additive), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), etc.
This 100gr chunk of cuteness is only $4 reg.
Putting the good scent in a bottle, we have the Honeymania EDT.
Most of The Body Shop's EDTs are light and last a few hours, including Honeymania. The bottle is small enough to tote around (1oz/ 30ml, retails $14) to refresh during the day, but be mindful of its glass bottle to avoid breakage.
Ingredients: Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Water (Solvent/Diluent), Fragrance, Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Benzyl Salicylate (Fragrance Ingredient), Honey (Natural Additive), Geraniol (Fragrance Ingredient), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), etc.
I am happy with this collection, and my most favorite is the bath melt, naturally. The scent is pleasant and refreshing. The collection also has body scrub, body butter, shower gel and lip butter for you to check out.
